Profile: James Jackson-Hunter – Digital Manager
Jacko & Skye
James – or ‘Jacko’ as he’s usually known – has been working at The Printing House for 11 years and was recently promoted to Digital Manager, you may recognise his name from his previous role as a pre-press operator.
Why did you get into printing?
I suppose you could say it runs in the family. My Grandad used to own his own printing company many years ago, before I was born called Progressive Printing, the print industry has changed quite a lot since his time though.
What would be your dream job?
Probably have to be a cheese and wine tester or a professional video game player.
Who would play you in a film about your life?
Henry Cavill – If he can successfully play Superman, he could manage to pull off me
Or Charlie Simpson, I’ve been told in the past we have matching eyebrows.
What would you most like to print?
I’d love to print some big promotional material for movies that are seen all around the world
Shark Diving, Bungee Jumping or Skydiving?
Shark Diving for sure, I love swimming whether it’s in the sea, an open lake, or the pool & I think being up close to sharks would be amazing.
What is your favourite album?
We Are the Ocean – Go now and Live
What is the worst kind of print?
Anything with low res images or a scanned copy of something!
Best holiday you have ever taken?
Honeymoon to Disney World no doubt!
Gin Vodka or Tequila?
Tequila, with cinnamon and an orange slice.
