Free Print Workshops
Are you a Graphic Designer or involved in Marketing?
Would you like to know more about print production processes?
Would you also like a free Printing House mug, personalised t shirt and lunch? Then read on…
We have found that often our customers are unaware of the actual processes that are used to create their finished products, but that they are interested in learning more. So in the spirit of Learning at Work Week (this year’s theme is ‘Connect’) we are opening our doors to marketers and graphic designers who would like to come and see firsthand, the printing and finishing techniques we use here at The Printing House.
We are running a series of free workshops on the 17th, 18th and 19th of May 2016, running from 11-13:00 on each day. Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand throughout for any questions you may have. The workshops will include a tour of our factory, demonstrations of our print and print finishing techniques and Q&A sessions on artwork and design for print with our graphic designers.
You will be able to learn about litho print, digital print, vinyl for garments, DTG (direct to garment) and large format printing (banners etc), as well as print finishing methods such as die cutting, folding and stitch trimming. If applicable we will also be able to take you through common mistakes which can arise when designing graphics for various print mediums.
Lunch is included and you will also receive a couple of mementos to take away with you. Places are strictly limited, so please let us know how many attendees you would like to book for and which day. If you have any employees or colleagues who would also be interested in this event please pass our details on.
Bookings are being taken via our Facebook page, below:
